Long Day's Journey Into Night

by Eugene O’Neill

Directed by Jake Murray

70TH ANNIVERSARY NORTHERN TOUR

With Dan Bradford, Edmund Dehn, Sarah Dorsett, Macy Stasiak and Danny Solomon

“The past is the present, isn’t it? It’s the future too. We all try to lie our way out of that but life won’t let us.”

Summer 1912: the Tyrones gather in the family home on the coast of New England. After years of separation they are reunited again, full of hope for the future. But as day passes into night their love will be tested to the utmost as the ghosts of the past come to haunt them and they all are drawn back into a past they hoped to escape.

Usually the preserve of London and Broadway, Elysium brings O’Neill’s autobiographical masterpiece to the North in a stunning new 70th Anniversary production, playing at many of our venues for the first time.
