NEW WRITING INITIATIVE

ELYSIUM THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCE

REIVER – VOICES FROM THE BORDERS

is a new writing initiative taking place across Durham and Northumberland Counties hosted by Elysium Theatre Company.

Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Northumberland County Council and Durham University

Elysium will select and produce 3 audio plays to a professional standard which will be released online in February 2024.

Guidelines: Each audio play must be
A maximum of 30 minutes long
Written for a maximum of 3 actors
Set during the era of The Reivers (14th - 17th Centuries)
Be written by writers with County Durham or Northumberland County post codes
